Welcome to The Mary-Jess Club
I don’t know about you, but this past year and a bit has helped me figure out what I want more of in life.
I want to CREATE.
And I need to create MORE.
So now the world is opening up again, this is the perfect time to set up my Ko-fi page!
I now have more opportunities to create more beautiful music and collaborations with all my favourite singers, artists and musicians, and with your help, I know that we can make the most of these opportunities together.
This is such a big deal for me because I only want to offer amazing things to you that I can feel truly proud of.
You can see this throughout all the merchandise and experiences that I create (for example, the hand-crafted real silver pictures!) so it’s taken months of research and careful planning to ensure that I am giving you the best of me and all that I do. It’s been a long time in the making, and now I am so proud to present The Mary-Jess Club to you here on Ko-fi!
I can’t wait to take you out in to the world with me and show you all the new creations and collaborations I have planned! All the ideas from the planning stages through to behind-the-scenes workings and the creation process, all the way through to completion! Never before has anyone had this much access to EVERYTHING that I do!
Think of it as an amazing road trip with all your best friends: You’re in the car with all your favourite people, all your favourite snacks and singing along to all your favourite songs at the top of your lungs!
That’s where we’re going!
As a founding member of the club, I’m giving you my acoustic version of John Legend’s ‘All of Me’ as a gift to say thank you. This song will not be available anywhere else, plus, we’ll have a celebratory launch concert exclusively for club members!
Then, as the club moves past it’s opening soiree and in to the full swing of the new roaring 20’s, I can’t wait to start delivering all of the perks that come exclusively with your club membership! All the subscriber only events, behind the scenes footage and pictures, regular live chats in the group, early listens to all the new collaborations and songs I’ll finally be able to finish and record, and so much more! I’m just so excited!!
And I’ll be able to create all of this and achieve it all, because of YOU.
At no point in my career have I ever had a regular paycheck. And when ever I’ve created anything the overriding pressure and issue is ‘Yeah, but how am I actually going to sell this?’
For independent artists like myself, creating music is NOT commercially viable.
There’s just no way in today’s marketplace to “make a profit” from a YouTube video with just a few thousand views, or a single released to steaming services, and albums often take years to recoup – if they ever do.
So, by buying a monthly ticket to the club, you will be helping me create what YOU want to hear, and lots MORE of it, because I won’t have to worry so much about trying to sell it. What a gift that would be!
And together, we’ll be able to give that gift to other musicians. I’ll be able to pay instrumentalists, artists and collaborators to make our creative ideas a reality and so your monthly ticket will not only support me, but lots of other creatives too!
The suggested ticket price is currently set at £29, but Ko-fi do offer a ‘Pay What You Want’ model, so if you would like to and are able to pay more for your ticket, your incredible generosity will be supporting more wonderful musicians as we’ll be able to create even more music with them! For all of the benefits and rewards be sure to sign up to the ‘Monthly’ subscription, not the ‘One time’ option.
